The heroes of Kalevala have been implemented in an original way in the windows of the Kalevala room. Each year there will be more stained glass windows ending up to form maybe the most complete series of Kalevala-themed artworks. Kalevala is the national epic of Finland. In addition to describing visually, the artist Maija Nikkinen also interprets Kalevala in an archetypical manner.
